Meet Dr. Hurd
Robert E. Hurd, M.D.
INTERNIST & ENDOCRINOLOGIST
Dr. Hurd is a graduate of Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska, and is a board-certified internist and endocrinologist. He has practiced most recently as a primary care physician at the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center and with the Visiting Physicians Association in Clermont County, Ohio.
Before this, he served as a Site Physician Co-Investigator for the ACCORD (Action to Control Cardiovascular Risk in Diabetes) Trial, located at Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Hospital and was a Research Associate at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Dr. Hurd also teaches bioethics and endocrinology at Xavier University of Cincinnati, in the departments of philosophy and biology, respectively.
